Chris is the resident "new guy" on the team, joining U.S.
Magnetix in Jan. 2005. His responsibilities as salesman are
focused on developing new customer relationships while
ensuring the highest quality & efficiency in service
delivery. His passion lies in consulting with customers to
creatively and cost-effectively meet their business goals.
Chris has 14+ years experience in account management /
client relations and has been through Fish Philosophy
training (www.fishphilosophy.com). This training has lead
him to believe that we choose our attitude everyday
consequently earning him the nickname "Guy Smiley".
Previous to U.S. Magnetix, Chris worked at GE Fleet Services
for 7 years where he was a Fleet Manager receiving numerous
awards for client service & projects. While there, he was
Greenbelt certified in the Six Sigma Quality training and he
applied these skills in 2002-2003 to collectively save his
portfolio of customers more than $1.55 million. Prior to GE
Fleet, Chris was a starving musician who played with the
Nationally touring jam band The Gooneybirds. He was the
bassist, vocalist, and one of four singer songwriters for
the group. Before his musical career, Chris studied Business
Management at the University of MN, honed his skills as
master cake sampler while attending Edina High School, and
originally came to fruition in the late 60's following a
short stint as "a gleam in his father's eye."
Chris' hobbies include: music, softball, motorcycles,
fishing, golf, tennis & collecting plastic kids toys of all
kinds. While his time for hobbies is somewhat limited, he
enjoys spending time with his wife Tammy and daughter's Anna
and Ella. Whenever his wife is asked about expanding the
family to a third child she replies, "I already have three
children." Chris hopes that his "child at heart" spirit is
carried on in his daughters.
